The breakfast is exceptionally good, fresh prepared and a a lot of variety. The surrounding of Monaghan were great. We enjoyed the Giants Park , much to see and do. We would definitely come back.

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.
