This was my first experience with a room with a shared bathroom (well, if you don’t count living in a student dormitory 15 years ago), so I was quite pessimistic about such an option. In fact, the entire hotel is absolutely new and perfectly clean. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel, two bathrooms. The bathrooms are very warm, everything is perfectly clean, there is shampoo in individual packets. Contactless check-in through the web page did not work for me, but the host opened the door remotely when I called him on WhatsApp. The host speaks English. The location is right in the city center, we arrived in the city late but felt completely safe. Ferrara is a very charming town, there are no crowds of marginalized people on the streets as in some other places. This is a very good option for the price (45 euros), I recommend.

The place was cozy, classy, and a very good value. There was a small lovely garden in the back that we wish we had had time for. If the off-season rates stay the same, we will definitely return to Leonardo’s Boutique Rooms 3.0.

Located in the centre of Bologna, Avenue Suites provides rooms with free WiFi. This recently renovated guest house is located less than 1 km from MAMbo and 1.8 km from Piazza Maggiore. Beautiful, modern, and comfortable apartment! The owner was very kind and helpful. The distance to the city center was excellent; we walked everywhere. I highly recommend it!

Mazzini Rooms is located in Bologna, 2.9 km from La Macchina del Tempo, 3.1 km from Santo Stefano Church, as well as 3.8 km from Archiginnasio di Bologna. The host was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Location was good, close to the center.

The building has been beautiful renovated and is very thoughtfully designed and styled. It was very relaxing to stay there, part work and part pleasure.

We were two guests and found the accommodation comfortable, clean, and very well located. Everything was easy and smooth, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again.
