Situated just 1.8 km from Ecological Museum, Sosnowa Polana Białowieża offers accommodation in Białowieża with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. If you're reading this -- this is the place. Best hosts at any place I've ever been, and I've been on the road for a long time. A "would you like a coffee?" turned into a coffee with chocolate pastries, into three different types of fish, into special mushroom pierogis (which were amazing), sausage tasting, and a great three(?) hour conversation. Can't rate highly enough!

Featuring a garden, Pensjonat Krainka is located in Białowieża in the Podlaskie region, 700 metres from Ecological Museum and less than 1 km from Palace Park. Beautiful, cosy house in the local style, with a resident stork couple nesting next door. The owner, Michal, provided excellent advise on what to do and where to go. Room very spacious, clean and cosy, we will surely come back!

Located just 11 km from Ecological Museum, Sioło Budy provides accommodation in Budy with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. Breakfast consisted of all local products and was exceptional. Facilities for children were great. We didn't get to use sauna (no time), but initially we chose Sioło Budy because it offered one. There was soccer field and sometimes also net to play volleyball. People of all ages will find suitable activities. Simple but high quality. We will surely be back.

We asked for breakfast at 9:00. At 9:08 or so while we were still in our room behind schedule, Cisza kindly knocked on our door to say our breakfast was getting cold. Now that's service!

Pokoje Przy Stoczku is a traditional wooden cottage located in central Białowieża, a 20-minute walk from Białowieża National Park. Free WiFi access is available in this homestay. The rooms were in a renovated building which had a nice ambience. It was as extremely close to the national park, small groceries and restaurants. Although we only had one night, we were able to visit the park the evening of our arrival and take a nice hike. In the morning we did the audio tour of the natural history museum which was very well done. The breakfast was great.

Boasting a garden, Białowieska Chata is located in Białowieża in the Podlaskie region, 1.1 km from Ecological Museum and 1.2 km from Palace Park. The location was great and the view from the balcony was very relaxing. It's a short drive by car or bike to some of the most popular trailheads or restaurants in Białowieża, and at the same time you're at the edge of the town, so it's very peaceful and quiet. The room and the bathroom were very clean and large enough for a short stay. There's a common lounge room with a kitchen, so you can use a fridge or a stove.
