Lovely home, very pretty house and garden, some lovely decor. Family were very pleasant. It is very convenient for the old city and very close to a top French resteraunt. Breakfast was very good, order coffee and you get tea as well. There is a great bakery just round the corner, croissant and coffee there. Good top floor balcony. A bit out of town but the grab taxis never took more than 5 minutes to arrive going in or out, and they cost virtually nothing so the quiet location was worth the taxi ride.

The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

My room was very nice, the bed was excellent and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was very delicious and of great value. The property is within a short walk of the Imperial City entrance. Close to places to eat and have a beer or coffee with locals. Superb value and the perfect location for people interested in spending extra time at the Imperial City.
