This was basically a hotel without any on-site staff. It was the nicest hostel I have ever been to. The room was newly renovated with an amazing bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, and it even had a little kitchenette in the room so I could buy some microwavable food when I didn't want a full dinner.

Neotel is designed as a simple and basic hostel, a place to sleep, clean up, and keep your stuff. If that is all what you need then Neotel is a great option. Our room was quite large and had plenty of space. Check in was very easy, as you they give you a code which you can use to access the hostel floor and your room. The hostel itself is fairly small (only ten units), which means it was never loud or crowded. Our room and all of the facilities were very clean and well maintained.

Viru Backpackers Hostel is a small, friendly place on the bustling main street of Tallinn's old town, just around the corner from the Town Hall.
