After walking the caminos for 2.5 months, I came to Combarro for rest and enjoy coastal Galicia. The hostel was perfectly located with an amazing view of the ocean from the garden. The hostess, Carmen, was delightful and such a lovely person. She made sure the environment was warm and hospitable. I was there for 4 nights and he was so helpful to everyone with making sure everyone was comfortable. I only intended to stay 3 nights but loved it so much I added an extra night. The hostel was well laid out and the bed was super comfortable. There were lockers which was very helpful to keep things locked up and also the area clean. The detached kitchen was fantastic, with it's outdoor vibe. It was great to make my breakfast and go sit in the garden to enjoy the view. I was sad when I had to leave as I felt like I was leaving a friend's house. Highly recommend. Many who stayed were pilgrims walking the camino but also vacationers, a nice mix.

This albergue is great value for money! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. The garden is beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing after a day on the Camino. It’s just 1.5 km from Redondela and conveniently close to a few restaurants and the beach. ( It is on the Camino ) Marcos, the owner, is absolutely lovely and will go out of his way to make you feel at home. A peaceful and scenic stop on the Camino de Santiago — highly recommended! I like how they seemed to try to separate by men and women. beds were very cozy, dorm was a great temperature
