One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Seriously awesome. Staff are amazing, and everything is super clean and comfortable. You can ocasionally catch a soccer game with the locals too.

I had an excellent stay at Mayong Bali Villa and Hostel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and engaging—they even helped arrange a taxi for me, which made travel much easier. The food was fresh and delicious, and breakfast was a real highlight. I also loved the cultural activities, like Balinese dance and traditional offering-making (canang sari). They added such a special and authentic touch to the experience. Tip for future guests: book your taxi the day before if you’re traveling some distance to your next location, since Grab and Gojek don’t serve this area (as of August 2025). A peaceful, well-run place full of heart. I’d happily come back again.
