The Location is great and you can actually chill without anyone else you can trek in the forest and get a wonderful village called kanyal. You can use the kitchen and prepare food for what you want. Olgah Manali is an absolute dream stay in the Himalayas. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a space that feels more like a design retreat than a hotel. The room interiors are stunning—thoughtfully decorated with warm wooden accents, modern touches, and large windows that frame breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. The beds are incredibly comfortable, perfect for sinking into after a day of exploring. I also loved how well the rooms maintained a cozy, pleasant temperature, even when it was chilly outside. The bathroom has reliable hot water, which was a huge plus during the cold mornings and evenings. The staff is truly exceptional—kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it’s room service, local tips, or helping with bike rentals, they go out of their way to make your stay easy and memorable. Now let’s talk about the food—it’s absolutely delicious. The kitchen at Olgah is a hidden culinary gem. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, but the trout dish is a must-try—cooked to perfection and easily one of the best meals I had in Manali. The location is peaceful and tucked away from the crowds, yet still close to Old Manali (just a short ride away). I’d definitely recommend having a bike or car, and the great news is that you can rent bikes directly from the hotel, which makes getting around super convenient.

Farm Hostel & Camps, Manali: A Perfect Retreat for Solo Travelers I had the most unforgettable stay at Farm Hostel & Camps in Manali, and I’m giving it a perfect 10/10! This hidden gem exceeded all my expectations and is ideal for solo travelers seeking a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that perfectly balances comfort, nature, and community, but this hostel nailed it. Location: 10/10 The location is simply breathtaking. Nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by apple orchards, lush green hills, and a serene river nearby, it’s the perfect escape from the busy streets of Manali. Being about 15-20 minutes away from Old Manali’s tourist spots was a bonus. You can enjoy all the nature and quiet while still being close enough to the cafes and shops when needed. Waking up to the sound of birds and misty mornings made my stay magical. Accommodation: 10/10 Whether you're staying in their cozy dorms or opting for a more rustic tent experience, both are top-notch. The dorms are clean, warm, and comfortable, with fresh linen and heaters to keep the Manali chill at bay. The tents offer an authentic camping vibe with all the essentials. The shared bathrooms were spotless, and the hot water was always available when needed. Perfect for the mountain weather! Farm Life Experience: 10/10 This was the highlight of my stay. The farm is fully operational, and guests are encouraged to take part in daily activities. I spent mornings helping with gardening and even got the chance to pluck fresh apples right from the trees! The evening bonfires were the perfect way to end the day, sharing stories with fellow travelers and gazing at the starlit sky. The connection with nature was truly grounding, and I’ve never felt so in tune with the environment. The hosts are warm and welcoming, often sharing their home-cooked meals made with fresh, organic ingredients from the farm.

Situated in Old Manali away from the crowd, yet closer to new Manali and Mall Road(walkable distance). Hospitality of the staff (Satish, Roni, Rakesh) and owner (Ali, Kshitij) was exceptional. Stayed there for a week and it was the best experience. Owners were very cooperative and helped in identifying good spots which are not known to many people.
