Very welcoming staff working here, I was here for Diwali and it was a lot of fun. I liked that it’s tucked up the mountain a little off the main road. My room was super comfortable. I was able to get a ride to and from airport so it was no hassle getting here.

The property location is perfect and centrally located to Rishikesh at your doorstep. Located all within restaurants, chemists, small general stores, fantastic ice creamery, street food stalls, temples and Ganga River ferry to cross river. The staff are beautiful people willing to help when asked or needed. The room was extremely clean and modern with the best cold air con needed on those hot Rishikesh days. The property facilities are great offering day beds outside of rooms along with comfy chairs to sit on and is nestled amongst magnificent gardens as well as 2 friendly loving house dogs that love all the attention they can get. Overall Indian Culture made a stay in Tapovan extremely comfortable. It is fantastic value for money offering dorm style beds and twin share rooms depending on your budget. All rooms including dorm air coned. Property has a clothes line to use when needed and great mountain views and a peaceful relaxing welcoming atmosphere

Very very very friendly staff! This was definitely the key point of my stay in this hostel. I don't know how to spell the name of the girl at the reception, but she was the sweetest!! She helped me with so many things 🥹 The beds are comfy and spacious. The location is great, as it's not directly exposed to the main road, that can get a little bit noisy. Clean bedsheets and bathrooms are always nice and tidy. (I stayed in the female dorm, and one night in a private room) The view from the terrace is breathtaking!

The female dorm was great, comfy beds, big bathroom to share, quite clean. The cafe had a wonderful vibe, very cozy, with some great background music. There are 4 adorable cats living there, who sometimes come cuddle with you while you eat, read, or simply relax on the couches... The staff was really friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and making recommendations on things to do or where to find stuffs in Rishikesh. The place is right in the middle of the main street, with a lot of clothing shops, organic stores, and the beautiful Ganga river few meters away :) looking forward to come back!

    I recently stayed at Madpacker 2.0 and had a fantastic experience. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I especially enjoyed the small get-togethers they arranged every noon and night, which made it easy to meet fellow travelers. Overall, Madpacker offers excellent value for money and a welcoming environment. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers!

Highly recommended for budget travellers seeking a comfortable stay. the food was good with a variety of options. the river was a walkable distance from the establishment. the staff helped with additional arrangements for travelling and places to visit. rooms were private, quiet and safe. I would recommend it to even working professionals who want a quiet getaway and work in peace.

    The whole vibe and people at the hostel. This is how hostels are supposed to be; a community centre to meet new people, learn from each other's experiences and share joy. Loved interacting with Tej, Rahul and Komal. Nicolai was soo full of life, he brought soo much energy to our evenings. It was one of the best hostel stays in recent times.
