Hostels in Chişinău

Ruben is amazing, especially the Transnistria tour he took us: many hidden places discovered and is full of fun. The hostel itself is also good, and I like the cat Miaomiao very much!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a perfect experience. We got a twin room which is basically two bunkbeds in a room, so it was private for us. The washrooms and kitchen, even if shared were clean and spotless at all times. In general guests and staff at this hostel were very respectful and gentle. Location is the best part - you won't get a better value for your money anywhere else. A stone's throw from all the important landmarks in the city. Some highlights about our stay and this hostel: - The hostel is connected with a big shopping mall and there is also a cat cafe here. If you like cats you will enjoy a lot. Even if you don't like cats, it's ok. Cats don't enter the hostel area, they stay in the cafe. - The air conditioning in the room was good. If you're on a tight budget but would like to stay at a great location in Chisinau, this is the place for you. They changed the towels too upon request. Room had power socket and proper lights. Locker was there too, but we didn't ask for the locker keys. I believe you can ask at the reception. - You can get potable water at the kitchen sink. Next to the regular tap, they have a filtered tap too for drinkable water. - They have pet birds. - Staff is polite which is rare in this part of the world. Of course they don't go overboard and smile all the time, but they act professionally when you ask anything. So your job gets done. - Plenty of grocery stores around with the nearest one being Nr1 at the mall. From the lift of this hostel, you can enter the mall through an exclusive door. + From the cat cafe. - We experienced an earthquake tremor too (epicenter was in Romania) while being at this hostel. It was a short and quick one, no damage anywhere but was an eventful part of our stay.

Loved this place. Felt more like a comfy home! Privacy curtains for bunks , hot water, air conditioning and really clean, plus they provide you a towel. Amazing value even if not the closest to the centre (but I liked how it was a quiet area).

The staff were excellent. The administrator and the owner just outstanding. very comfortable, clean, great facilities. This will be my home every three months, I volunteer in Ukraine. All the guests here are honest and friendly. Great place!!!
