The location is ideal. Hostel Domestika is located about six minutes on foot from the bus station. It is also an easy walk to Heraclea Lyncestis in one direction and the town center in the other. Across from the hostel is a large park where the promenade begins. Follow the promenade north to the museum, cafes, restaurants, shops, banks, the clock tower and mosques.

    The hostel was in a great location. The kitchen was great and well equipt. The staff were very friendly and had good advice on what to see and do in the area. I liked the cats that were hanging around. It was good to have curtains in the dorm as the beds are quite close together.

    I only stayed here 1 night and got upgraded to a room with 1 bunk bed. This meant that my friend and I were alone in a room together which was great. Other than that the facilities were good, though it’s more of a converted apartment that a proper hostel building.
