Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Hotels That Guests Love in Amsterdam
  • Good bed and clean bathroom, the property in general a little dirty but you can expect that because is a party youth hostel, the staff is very helpful, the location is superb and they serve a fairly good breakfast

  • Typical youth hostel with bunk beds, yet gives you a very clean environment and comfortable stay. The staffs were very helpful and their map was useful too!

  • LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! The style is bright, breezy and cheerful; buzzing with backpackers, holidaying families, and groups on joint outings. There is ample public space (equipped with sofas and comfy chairs) to hang out and relax. The mood is easygoing and lively, and there is none of the harder edge, noise (and often seediness) encountered in some of the Red-Light District hostels. The house is located between 2 canals, and you can see both of them :D

  • Booked the room for one night to catch a flight in the morning. Great location and the youth hostel is inside a typical amsterdam old houses facing the canal.

  • I like the Hostel building, reception, lobby, dining hall, laundry room, my room.. basically the whole hostel is great value for money, especy for backpackers and students.
