My Heartfelt Feedback for Padco Living Hostel Since February, Padco Living Hostel has been more than just a place I check in and out of—it has become a constant part of my life and, in many ways, a safe haven during one of the most challenging chapters of my journey. For the past seven months, I’ve been struggling with allergies that have greatly affected my daily life. Through it all, Padco Living Hostel and its incredible crew have stood by me with the kind of care and compassion you rarely find anywhere else. From the very beginning, their team made me feel more than just a guest. The warmth of their welcome is something you can feel the moment you arrive. They remember names, they remember faces, and most importantly for me, they remember needs. My allergies can be unpredictable and overwhelming, but here, I never had to worry. The staff always made sure to note every allergy, every small request, and every detail that would help me feel comfortable and safe. That kind of attentiveness goes beyond good service—it’s genuine care. What touches me the most is how they didn’t just care for me, but also for my dog, who has been by my side through all of this. Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel stressful, but at Padco Living Hostel, my dog was welcomed with the same kindness and warmth I received. That simple act made my stays so much lighter, because it showed me that here, both of us were valued, cared for, and respected. Over the months, their crew became more than staff—they felt like family. Each stay was filled with smiles, warm conversations, and gestures that reminded me I wasn’t going through this journey alone. When you’re struggling with something like allergies, the smallest things matter so much more. And time and time again, they showed me that they noticed, they cared, and they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was okay.

Best sleep I ever had. I don’t usually book shared dorms, but I was just visiting for 1 night anyway so I booked and the place did not disappoint. Bed and comforter was so comfortable, room was clean and quiet even with other guests around. Shower room and toilet are separate, and there is available hair dryer and iron. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. I had to attend a wake so I called ahead and informed the receptionist that I will be back late (curfew was 12 AM) and she very kindly waited to open the door for me. Place was also very secure knowing that it is in downtown area—they have high-tech security locks with codes in almost all doors. Best of all, I only paid 400 for a night :)

This is a house with bungalows in the backyard. There is a full-kitchen and shared fridge you can use to cook. The wifi in the house is good. The bathroom has hot water in the shower. They take good care of the plants in the back, too.

    Me and my partner love this hostel, this is our go to hostel whenever we would stop at Cebu. The bunk beds are comfortable and so are the private rooms. The location also is good since its near to the malls and IT Park. And if your a digital nomand this is a great place to work.
