Lovely location, Kemar and staff are very friendly and helpful, and a great common area on second floor with view of the waves! Fantastic place to stay in El Tunco, I planned on five days and ended up staying for three weeks.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The hostel is beautiful, clean and tidy, with a swimming pool, communal kitchen and lots of hammocks to hang out in, as well as a shelf of books and boardgames. The space is big and very accommodating and I really enjoyed my dorm. The bunk beds are comfortable and big, with plenty shelf space, individual light, fan and charging ports. I met some lovely people there and the space seemed vibrant, with an awareness for rest and silence in the night.

see their rude response and you will have the perfect understanding of how terrible this place and the owners are. you dont lie saying I didnt stay because I PAID for this nasty place. and you want to avoid paying the booking.com portion????? pretentious attitude? lol. no, I was expecting a hostel not a shelter with open ceilings. butler? LOL. hilarious and rude.

Nice hostel in Palmarcito beach with a pool. Nice boardwalk from the beach to playa La Leona and some pools. 1 night was good enough.
