This hostel is absolutely amazing, the vibe and people are Lovely! Makelele and all the team are always open to help. You can make friends easily. The beach is literally 60mts away. The breakfast is simple but delicious. It is close to Paje town and you easily walk there. The guy from Germany who is volunteering is cool and if you have any questions you can ask him without any doubt. I would highly recommend this place 100%!!

My one-night stay at Drifters Zanzibar was nothing short of amazing! The beachfront location is perfect, creating a serene atmosphere with the sound of waves. The positive vibe and friendly people make the experience even better. The culinary offerings, including delicious food and drinks, are top-notch. Drifters Zanzibar is a must-visit for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

We loved Mambo Leo! Tatu was so lovely and it really felt like home. Our room was comfortable and clean - Tatu worked all day to keep the whole place spotless. We had stayed elsewhere in Paje before, and this was exponentially better for half the price. We loved staying in the village, it was quiet and felt more authentic, with access to tons of cheap, delicious local food. The wifi is also insanely fast!! This is the sweetest, homiest, quietest place in Paje!

My 7-day trip to Jambiani, Zanzibar, was an unforgettable tropical escape! This hidden gem on the southeast coast offers warm weather, stunning white-sand beaches, and a peaceful Swahili coastal vibe, a perfect contrast to busier spots. I woke to beautiful sunrises over the Indian Ocean. Jambiani's coast, with its palm trees and traditional dhow boats, is serene. By the end of my 7 days, I left Jambiani not just relaxed, but with a new appreciation for slow, community-focused travel. The island’s magic isn’t in fancy amenities or wild party scenes—it’s in the warmth of the local people, the unspoiled natural beauty of the coast, and the way time seems to slow down enough to actually savor every moment. I’m already planning my return trip, and I’d recommend Jambiani to anyone who wants more than just a generic beach vacation: this is a place that feels like home, even after just one week. ✨✨✨✨✨

I stayed 2 nights at Coconuts Bandas which is such a lovely place right on the beach of Jambiani. Breakfast is served in the little restaurant that belongs to the accommodation with cozy sofas and great atmosphere.The breakfast was great with different options, i had lunch and dinner there as well, everything freshly homemade cooked with many vegan options. The staff was very friendly and gave me recommendations for the area plus they helped me to arrange a taxi. Wake up and take a long walk on the beach at sunrise, you will definitely enjoy this beautiful spot. Highly recommended:)

New Teddy's is like paradise, a lot of corners to relax, great breakfast and good dinner. We had an excellent tour in the village with cooking class with the Hotel guide and musician Coco, who also helped us in organizing our way back to Stone Town passing by Josiani Park and a spice farm. Thanks Coco. Great place to enjoy the beach and at the same time discover Zanzibar life!
