Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. The location is wonderful, really close to the train station. I was in a private room, It was bigger than I expected.

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates. The people at the reception are very nice and helpful. The bathroom was clean even if it is shared. The beds were comfy and clean.

This room was impeccably clean and very easy to access. I expected to be in a dark,barely supportable room with dirty corners and a dirty bathroom. How amazed I was to find a super clean room, kitchen and bedroom. Good job!
