We loved everything about this place! It had a wonderful vibe, friendly staff, fantastic room and facilities including a shared kitchen if you wanted to make yourself a cup of tea or a cheaper meal. Thank you so much Happy Inn Lodge. we will be back as soon as we can!

Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terrace and garden. Huge communal spaces - rooms to play darts, to chill and read, play the piano or guitar, do your work, and a fully equipped kitchen. Toilets are so clean and I never had to wait to shower or use the bathroom. Receptionists are super friendly as well, they’re just strict about the 4pm check-in time. There are lockers (paid but super cheap like 2 CHF for 24 hours if I recall for the medium size locker) and storage area for luggage (free). There’re also organised social events like bbq, clubbing in the hostel itself, hiking together etc. love the vibes!

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. This was probably the best hostel I have ever been at. The staff, the location and the view from the balcony (yep,balcony), the facilities. I actually have no bad word to say about this hostel. Stayed there 4 nights and didn’t even feel the time go by because everything was so nice and convenient
