The staff is friendly, they speak good, English, the Hostel is clean and efficient, it has everything a back packer needs, breakfast was good and generous. Situated in a historic building only 100 metres from the famous Zytglogge Tower, the Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke can be found right in the centre of the city. Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Wifi was good. Showers clean. Beds comfy. Kitchen clean and extremely well equipped, more than I expected. The location is easy to get to everything. Will stay here again if I'm in town.

Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the... Nice atmosphere. Not far from the train station. Spacious room and lockers available. Second time we stayed this week. Would stay again.
