Located right in the heart of the city, the hostel was easily accessible from the train station, making it a breeze to get to after a long flight. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean, providing a cozy respite from the bustling city streets outside. For the affordable nightly rate, the Friendly Hostel offered exceptional value, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers.

Offering 24-hour reception, free public Wi-Fi and a spacious lounge area with flat-screen TV and billiards, Youth Hostel Zurich is 80 metres away from the Jugendherberge bus stop. Very cozy and with relaxing common areas. The breakfast was excellent.

The Oldtown Hostel Otter and its old-established Wüste Bar is a stylish place for the young-at-heart in Zürich's Old Town, about 300 metres from the Zürich-Stadelhofen train station and the lake. Perfect location, customer staff all are helpful, there's a bar in the hostel with customer discounts, free locker room with key, with luggage room for early check-in and late check out - perfect!

It was very comfortable and affordable. We didn’t use the kitchen but it would be so nice if you’re looking to save money and/or staying for an extended period of time. It was a short walk to the lake/beach which was lovely. The host is very welcoming and accommodating. She drove us to the train station in her own car for no charge.

I really liked the attitude of the stuff and systematic approach. Biggest kitchen I've seen yet, what really helped out and made me feel like a real human being. In the kitchen I had an access to frying oil and some leftovers from previous stays (like grated cheese and toasts), so I didn't need to buy butter or oil to just use a shot of it. The location was beautiful and just a few minutes from train station. Stuff took care of my belongings while I was already checked out and later allowed to take me a shower, what was very pleasant and helpful.
