Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Walking Street is a 15-minute walk away. Cozy place, run by local family. We felt very welcomed from the first moment. They have a restaurant with amazing dishes, which we could choose from. They gave us recommendations for activities and helped us arrange a hike to Abujicuo, which was highlight of our trip. The hotel is located in the center, directly in the old town, with walking distance to the main square.

Perfect location in the ancient city. There is a nice cafe in the hostel with Yunnan specialty coffees and indoor / outdoor seating. Rooms are very clean and there is even a Western style toilet. Hard to find in Yunnan. Staff speaks some English as well. Very helpful with directions to different attractions around Dali.

Location was very good. Nearby subway station and a beautiful green lake park within 5 minutes walk.
