The house is located at the lower end of the village and our room had an open view out into the rice fields. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Jacky is super nice and a great host! He picked us up at the train station and dropped us off for the bus to Banna, which he organized for us. He also prepared food and gave valuable recommendations for our hike. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and I highly recommend his place if you are looking for a nice, local experience and a friendly host.

Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Walking Street is a 15-minute walk away. First of all, we really appreciated how much effort the accomodating and friendly owners put in their cozy guesthouse. They made our stay homely and we felt very welcomed. We were given tea or hot chocolate in the colder evening and they served us fruit in the afternoon. Our room was clean, the bed sheets warm for the cold nights and the common area lovely decorated. Since the hostel is situated within the old town, the location couldn't have been better. We would definitely come to stay here again!

Host spoke a little English which was very helpful. Loved the shower and toilet were in different rooms. Great location near the bus station and lots of restaurants nearby. South gate very close. Nice dog.

They can help you with all kinds of questions, about food and phone cards etc The cafe is very homely and has great food. The espressos are excellent. The neighbourhood is perfect. With a farmer's market and many smaller restaurants. I can't wait to come back.

Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.
