The hosts were very welcoming and bent over backwards for us to make sure we, and others at the hostel, had a guide for hiking in the paramo on a very busy colombian holiday weekend. They also organized for us to try making footballs, checked bus times for onward journeys from Sogamoso, and recommended restaurants and shops to us. Great location. Nice bedding and duvets, mirror in the room, warm showers. Nice kitchen and dining area. Beautiful artwork on the walls by a local artist and friend! Super responsive on Whatsapp.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The dining room area was nice and the breakfast was good. The beds were firm but very comfortable.

The place is beautiful and located only half a block away from the bus station and it's very close to the main square too. Spacious and comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious. Beautiful, relaxed and tranquil place. Really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and great location for walks (but a bit of a schlep up a hill from the bus station with backpacks, for info). Would highly recommend.

Located in Villa de Leyva’s town centre, Posada Portal de la Villa offers a 24-hour front desk, free parking and a tour desk. Free Wi-Fi access is also available. Just the entrance is beautiful. You come in a garden with trees, gardening tools from back in the day and tables where people eat their breakfast. It’s very clean, staff is really kind and the, I believe, the owner, an older man is super sweet, and it’s super close to the Plaza Major.

Best hostel I ever had in Colombia. And Iam here already one month. Very friendly people. Hot shower. Very close to square and very quiet. Beautiful garden with hamomocks. Plus a funny name if you are Czech or Slovak lol.

Amazingly beautiful place! The room was nice, as was all the shared areas. Kept spotless by the cleaning staff. Daniela(the owner) was super kind and helpful, responsive via whatsapp to answer any questions and offer recommendations. The kitchen was very well stocked!
