At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, the units at Ester`s Place have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms come with a balcony. My stay at Ester's Place was just great! The host was VERY friendly and accommodating. I picked the location because of its proximity to CIMA where I was scheduled to have some dental work. The medical complex is a short, enjoyable walk through a nice, safe neighborhood, which allowed me to save on parking fees. My room was spacious, secure, and comfortable, with everything I needed, and Ester was only a text message away if I had any questions. I will definitely stay here again!!

Staff at the hostel are available to provide advice at the 24-hour front desk. Small hostel with the family living on premise. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was kept very clean. Excellent wifi. A good portion of San Jose is a little dangerous these days but this neighhborhood felt quite safe. It has quite a few restaurants (and a good gym) within walking distance but lacks a nearby laundry service and not offered by the hostel. Something to ponder if you plan on staying longer. Bed was comfortable.

Great staff, we stayed in the room upstairs - it was quiet with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and filling, coffee available all day long and filtered water as well. Lots of "lounging" space throughout the hostel. Also, the park was just few blocks away - another bonus! We liked it so much, that we are going to stay in their another location in Managua!
