For the price I can't fault the place so it's a ten all the way from me. I got the apartment across the road from the reception. Excellent spacious place. Jacuzzi in the bath, bedroom up the stairs. All good. Breakfast was great. Tuzco is a five minute walk back from the beach which, bearing in mind how noisy the area at the front can be is a real bonus. The pool and its surrounds were clean and well organised. But the best thing about the place is Julio and his staff. Welcoming, friendly and professional at all times. They arranged an early breakfast for me on two of my mornings and could not have been more helpful.

Very beautiful place with a lot of woodwork, trees and flowers. very helpful staff, nice breakfast. We could let our bag in a locker room and take a shower after coming back from our excursion even though we had already checked out. Really great place!

Hostal Casa Taisha býður upp á gistingu í Montañita. Sum herbergin eru með sjávar- eða fjallaútsýni. Öll herbergin eru með sérbaðherbergi. What I liked was that the property is two blocks from the beach, plus you can walk to the bars, so it's super quiet.

Casa del Sol is located in Montañita, just steps away from the beach. Free WiFi access is available and a free daily breakfast is offered. Breakfast was included in our stay and was very delicious. The owner of Casa Del Sol was awesome!! the Staff were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for an awesome place to stay and do yoga as well as surfing (it's a 2 sec walk to the surf break) then this is the place to stay :) will 100% be staying, there again on our next trip to Montanita.

This is the most peaceful place I have stayed in all my years travelling. It is so tranquil and lovely, right next to the beach. The only sound I could hear was the waves on the shore.

I stayed in Cabin #5, which is closest to the ocean and had queen bed with ceiling fan, mosquito net, private bath, and balcony. There’s a large central house with dining and kitchen areas, and upstairs space for yoga, including also hammocks and ocean view. The ocean is directly in front of the property, accessible through a private gate. The beach is very long, over 6km, and you can walk to the next town or to one of several local restaurants with excellent seafood. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Proprietor offers bird watching tours at a local conservatory and also whale watching trips from the neighboring town. The property is very clean with many colorful plants and native trees. The covered rear entry has a guest kitchen, with seating and dining areas.

Casa surf Arrels is a great spot to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of Montañita. It's located in a quiet area, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are spotless with comfortable beds, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The place is run by a friendly and laid-back family who are always around if you need anything. Highly recommended for a chill and comfortable stay!
