Hostel Revolution was a perfect stay for Quito. Sandra is super friendly, has great tips for everything and is fun to talk with! The hostel is cosy decorated and spacious. The roof terrace has an amazing view and is great for relaxing, drinking a beer, reading etc. We had a private room, neatly and clean with good beds and good pillows(thats a first!). Showers were consistantly warm and clean. Towels included. Breakfast was delicious! The kitchen is spacious and perfect if you wanna cook your own. The location is great, cafés with good coffee super close, also lots of restaurants. Super nice to go to eat (or party on fri/sat): Sereno Moreno. The area felt safe for us. The historic centre with it's highlights in walking distance. During the night it was quiet, so we had a good nights rest.

Absolutely amazing stay! This hostal was truly exceptional. The atmosphere is light and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The room, although small, was very comfortable, and the bed was incredibly cozy. There’s something special about the energy of this place — you feel it the moment you arrive. The breakfast was the best we had in Ecuador — everything is prepared with great care and attention to detail. You can really feel the love put into every part of the experience. The owners, were kind and helpful. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely miss it. We recommend this place to everyone, and if we ever return to Quito, we will certainly stay here again!

Great guys working in the hostel. The room is small but comfortable, good hot water pressure in the shower. There is a kettle on the floor, dishes for coffee or tea. If the windows face the street, then you will hear noise, but at night everything is ok.

Nice place even tho' i heard not to walk at night, but it may apply to everywhere near the old town and surroundings, overall I liked it. full of students as it is closer to a university, which is great, they know the place and you can ask them anything about the area and they will let you know. I also make "friends" with one of them, so It was really great. I had an amizing stay. receptionist was kind and they have laundry service with G-R-E-A-T prices .. was very handy

Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful, shared bathrooms were always immaculately cleaned, my room was cleaned and towel replaced once a day, there is a small courtyard to hang out and smoking area if you need it. Management let me store my bags after I had checked out and they had water and snacks available for purchase. Always someone around who is available to help you and the location is close to an amazing taco place that had live music and delicious food! Management also let me use the property phone multiple times to contact the airline I was flying with. Location felt safe.

All rooms have a wardrobe. If there is a better place to stay in Quito, I don't want to know. Arupo is perfect. A beautiful and super comfortable space, in a very busy neighborhood with lots of options, but with the hostal located on a much quieter street. The highlight, however, is the incredible staff: friendly, smiling, efficient. It will always be my choice when I return to Quito.
