They upgraded me to a better room for free, because the room I originally booked was extended by another tourist. When I had to leave at 6 a.m. one day, they were able to have the breakfast ready for me very early in the morning. The WiFi is amazing, and I could even dial into a company meeting remotely without any delay. There was some noise from the street, but I believe it might actually be quieter than some other downtown hotels on busier streets. I slept quite well every night. The location is central. I would love to stay at the hostel again if I ever come back to Cairo in the future.

I decided to book this hostel because it looks neat, clean and location is in the center, near the Egyptian Museum. We stayed here only 2 nights, separately 1st and last night in Egypt. They let us use the public restroom at the day we already checked out, before moving to night bus to go to Qena, kept our luggage without any charging during our trip to Luxor, Aswan, until the day we were back to Cairo. They also offers laundry service in good price. Furthermore, you can book private trip through the hostel, e.g. to the pyramids. Additionally, the reception is always (24/7) occupied, helping us at our late checkin and early morning checkout, the staff is truly amazing! They are always happy to assist no matter what, and you can easily contact them via WhatsApp at any time. Thanks to the owner Abdo, his brother and everyone else at the hostel - I had an amazing stay in Egypt.
