Came in from Buffalo, NY, a little worried where I'd park. Lee had all the answers. Perfect distance from the packed area. Place was clean and Lee was serious about a late partying group having music off by 10:00. Excellent leadership.

Surrounded by lovely greenery in the heart of vibrant Keswick centre, YHA Keswick is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Derwentwater. It features a restaurant and self-catering kitchen. The people at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. Given how many people on a floor were sharing the showers and toilets, they were very clean and I appreciated that they were separate and individual. The drying room was very helpful too! The breakfast options were of good value. As others mention, the river sounds outside the window were lovely to fall asleep to.
