Arrived by train when it was getting dark so by the time I got a Tuk Tuk driver that spoke English and had a rough idea where the Homestay was I was fairly stressed by the time I finally arrived. But the owner was so calm and helpful I quickly calmed down. He showed me where the kettle was. Told me where a nearby chemist was and even order my takeout dinner on his app and just added it onto my room bill as I had no cash at the time.

Located in Suryanelli, Hostyard Plantation Hostel features a garden. The hostel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. I stayed at Hostyard for three nights and truly enjoyed the hospitality. Each and every staff member was kind and supportive. The team made sure to arrange whatever was needed whenever possible. The food was good, and the limited options actually made it simpler and more pleasant. The location is in very scenic spot and the best spot to enjoy the hostel is from the backyard
