The entire facility, equipment, building, animals, nature, .. everything is so authentic. If you don't mind living in a Vintage style, you definitely can't miss this place. For us it was a real experience. It was the only place where we woke up and looked out the window at horses. The most beautiful and colorful sunset we met on our trip. And those birds? A complete bird orchestra. There were home-made eggs from the farm in the fridge for a small fee, we really regretted having our own. We definitely recommend!

The accommodation offers karaoke and a shared kitchen. This hostel is super cute with lots of decorations outside which make it looks like very cozy. Inside you have a super nice common area (separated from the bar, so it is not noisy at all) with a very good taste furniture (I loved the old sewing machine!). We were in a triple room and beds were comfortable and well sound isolated. Kitchen was a bit small for all guests, but we managed. Showers and bathroom were clean.

Central location, all the shops are within walking distance. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen/dining room area is really lovely, such a nice spot to sit and hang out and look out the window at the town. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for multiple guests to cook at the same time. Sauna on the bottom floor is also nice. Staff were friendly.

Located in Seyðisfjörður, 4.1 km from Gufufoss, Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and barbecue facilities. Guests can enjoy mountain views. This isn’t something I usually notice but the hostel was very well structured. The layout was very convenient and comfortable (showers were separated nicely with lots of space, lots of space for luggage in the rooms and under the bed, head space on top bunks etc) and there were outlets and usb ports in each bunk. The entire building had such a comfortable, welcoming vibe, not to mention it was very aesthetic and had an incredible view of the mountains and ocean. Nicely designed with a funky color palette and lots of decor. It was a 14 minute walk to the town centre but it had guides, maps, board games, and books all in the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had all the utilities organized and sanitized nicely. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and even helped me set up a ride to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer!
