The host is also the nicest and picked me up from the bus station (even after my arrival time was delayed!). I only stayed 1 night but would love to come back

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Incorporated with a restaurant and bar, I could find food conveniently even others have closed down. The toilet seat is exceptional. It has regular showers and bath. My bunkbed has outside view. Spacious for storing personal items. The bed was soft and nice. Very clean overall.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. Everything was perfect! Amazing place to stay! It was very quiet, clean, it had everything we needed, the interior minimalistic and beautiful, great location. Wishing all the best and I hope to come back here someday.

There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel se află în Fujiyoshida, la aproximativ 3,5 km de Fujikyu Highland și la 7,8 km de Lacul Kawaguchi. The youth hostel is very easy to find, just off the Main Street when you leave the train station. The woman who runs the hostel was extremely friendly and welcoming and let us keep our bags there while we walked around town for a few hours. When it was time to check in, everything was very easy and we could pay with credit card. She showed us to our room and the rest of the facilities in the guest house. It is a very nice cozy house and we had the best sleep ever there. Definitely recommend!
