It's a beautiful guesthouse, more like a cozy home than a hostel in terms of atmosphere, so it may not be the best option for solo travelers looking to socialize. The staff was friendly, and everything was in good order. There is a microwave and hot water, which was convenient. The location is also good. However, it was cold inside—it actually felt even colder than outside. There is an air conditioner, but I don’t like the fan-type heater; it just doesn’t work well for me. Still, I recommend the place overall

Hostel 1889 se află în Fujiyoshida, la aproximativ 2,4 km de Fujikyu Highland și la 6,7 km de Lacul Kawaguchi. Everything! It was super clean, great location and there is even a rooftop from where you can see Mt. Fuji. Would have loved to stay there longer than 1 night.
