Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Kagelow is one of the most stunning hostels I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and the facilities are lush! There is an onsite restaurant and bar and the hostels outfit is beautiful. I stayed in both the hostel dorm rooms and also the private hostel rooms, both were exceptional! Highly recommend for solo and group travellers if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere!

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. It was a great choice because location's convenient, the everything was clean, bedroom was comfortable and staff was really accommodating and helpful (I left a valuable item and they shipped it to my next location). I also like the common areas especially the work spaces.

Free bike use to ride around the lake. Within walking distance of the lake. Lovely Staff.

The hostel was squeaky clean. The bathrooms are either new or were remodeled recently and are in pristine condition. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable and cozy. They offer free bicycles, tea/coffee, and Japanese snacks. There's a lovely rooftop with lounge chairs and a view of Mount Fuji. Not a party place. Definitely, one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at. Highly recommend.

There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel se află în Fujiyoshida, la aproximativ 3,5 km de Fujikyu Highland și la 7,8 km de Lacul Kawaguchi. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.
