They woke up very early to prepare our breakfasts, we really appreciated it.The lhouse is really beautiful and clean, with many spaces to relax. The rooms are comfortable with big and clean bathrooms.The general atmosphere is cozy and special, you feel like in your own home.

The caretaker Chamindu is a wonderful guy, always helpful and he would go beyong his way to help his guests. Nothing to complain about.

Boasting a shared lounge, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 2 km from Kollupitiya Beach, less than 1 km from The Independence Square and a 14-minute walk from Sinhalese Sports Club. Private parking is available on site. I picked this hostel again, mainly because of its location—right by the museum. It's a really nice family-run place, not much in the way of common areas or loud parties, but you always feel welcome and looked after, plus it is very clean and you can find all needed facilities and the price is amazing. Small tip: the hosts have small locks so you can just ask if you don't have your own one.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The staff was nice, thoughtful and flexible. They allowed us to check in at 10am after our long haul flight which was a game changer for us. The house is charming, facilities are clean (we had our own toilet and shower in the common bathroom)
