Stayed here for two weeks and absolutely loved it. The place is new, modern, spotless, and full of thoughtful little touches. Huge shoutout to the cleaning crew and the front desk staff — friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel genuinely taken care of. This was my first-ever hostel stay — straight off my bucket list — and multiple seasoned hostel travellers told me I was very lucky with my first choice. Would definitely come back!

Elmar Hostel er staðsett í Bacalar og býður upp á ókeypis reiðhjól, verönd og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Excellent staff and location facing the lagoon, breakfast included, bicycles, and kayaks! I recommend the sunrise tours from the hostel.

Kin Hostal and Camping er staðsett á Holbox Island og er í innan við 1,4 km fjarlægð frá Playa Holbox. For me, this place was the perfect place to stay at on Holbox. It's an easy walk from the center, but far enough to be super quiet and peaceful. It's small but social, easy going, clean, very friendly people working here and the tents were comfortable. I liked the common area, perfect to chill in a hammock or have a chat with the other guests. The kitchen was well organized too. Just around the corner is a little market where you can buy fresh fruits and food, also a nice alternative from all the restaurants in the center.

Casa Universo Holbox er staðsett á Holbox-eyju, 700 metra frá Playa Holbox, og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi og upplýsingaborði ferðaþjónustu. The host was very helpful and always available. They have bikes for rental at 30 pesos ($1.6) per hour, so very decent pricing. The room was so spacious! Almost every hotel we stayed at had only HOT or COLD water, nothing in between. This was literally the only place that actually had warm water which was amazing! The hammock was so comfy that came with the bed. There was a shared kitchen with pots and pans, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. She even had free water which most places did not have any. They had AC too which was lovely. It was also only a block or two from the ferry, super nice when we had to leave in the morning.

Mimosa Tulum er staðsett í Tulum, 3,1 km frá Tulum-fornleifasvæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. The staff and the vibe was amazing. They were very friendly and made me feel like I was home. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel bar was nice. Location was good, it's close to where colectivos are passing. I loved my 7 day stay, I would definitely come back and recommend it to all solo travelers.

Hostel Humanity er staðsett í Puerto Morelos, 28 km frá safninu Museo de Undir vatninu í Cancún og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. What I appreciated. First the welcoming of Juana and Lucas, the staff. I arrived early, so Lucas, while I was waiting for the bed, offered me a beer, on the cosy area near a small swimming pool. Comfortable bed, big room, nice bathroom, use of the kitchen. The owner was helpful with info, from the messages before arrival to the hints about town, beach, travel to airport... The view from the terrace was great, specially at sunset. I enjoyed my short stay.

Ukayil býður upp á gistirými í Bacalar. Herbergin á farfuglaheimilinu eru með sérbaðherbergi og rúmföt. Chetumal-alþjóðaflugvöllurinn er 34 km frá gististaðnum. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, nice extra touches like coffee, water and a small fridge, walking distance to everything you need. Would definitely recommend Ukayil!

Mayan Monkey Tulum - Social Hotel er staðsett í Tulum og býður upp á veitingastað, útisundlaug, bar og garð. So happy to stay here. I’ve been overnighting along other Mayan Monkey hostels and till now this is my favorite. First, it was my mistake and I booked in wrong dates so I contacted the hostel staff and they solved that, also, they respected the price besides my booking was on weekend. The place is cool, bedroom, architecture, furnitures, the walls, the location, facilities, excellent, and the best the breakfast. I’ve been in several hostels around the world and by now Mayan Monkey breakfast is the best, including the options, taste and price. I wanna return to this place.

Situated in Cancún, 200 metres from Playa Chac Mool, Mayan Monkey Cancun - Social Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Realy nice location, facilities, everything was clean and comfortable.
