This place really surprised me: I met amazing people. The hosts are friendly and happy to share local information so you can have a unique experience in Melaka. The hostel has a kitchen and the location is fantastic.

Matatagpuan sa loob ng 13 minutong lakad ng Stadthuys at 1.3 km ng Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum, ang Sleep Here Hostel, Melaka ay nagtatampok ng mga kuwarto na may air conditioning at shared bathroom... the beds were comfortable with lots of storage space, the bathrooms were clean and had shower gel! and there was free breakfast in the morning, but it was just toast with peanut butter (still nice if you’re a low budget traveller!)

Everything was great—the place, the cats, the staff, the location, etc. However, a note for the ladies: the wash area is on the 3rd floor, but some of us, including myself, have been using the male bathroom on the 2nd floor. A staff member even saw me using it but didn't say anything. A few of the travelers I met mentioned that the staff and male guests don't mind at all, so it's not really an issue. Still, it was a bit embarrassing for me. 🫢

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect—only a 5-10 minute walk to Jonker Street and Dutch Square and just around the corner from some nice restaurants. Wi-fi worked perfectly, the accommodation was super clean, and the communication was easy between the owner/manager. There are also hot water showers and filtered water, which are much appreciated! We didn't need it, but a kitchenette is available for use and a small, nice communal area with a table and couch.

Matatagpuan ang Discovery Youth Hostel Malacca sa Melaka, sa loob ng 3.8 km ng St John's Fort at 5.6 km ng Melaka Straits Mosque. I really enjoyed that place. The owner was very kind. Room was great and clean.
