The Alibi Hostel is located in the old prison in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is a shared kitchen, hairdresser's, and gift shop at the property. Its a prison whats not to like. It offers the opportunity to sleep in a prison without going through the hassle of breaking laws, going through the judiciary process and being detained at someone elses pleasure 🙏 The staff we SUPER friendly and couldnt of been more pleasant. Breakfast was decent and remember its a HOSTEL not a luxury hotel , however its also a social place and i chatted with other guests.. its lovely to not be cowed by snobbery and for me it did the job as advertises. Its all you really need and i will be going back with friends and family to explore Leeuwarden a little more. Its a fair walk approx 15 mins to the centre but thats exercise ..
