Right in the historic centre of picturesque Arequipa, Los Andes has rooms with free Wi-Fi only 30 metres from the main square. The location is walkable to many restaurants, the national bank, and to a museum . The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The bathrooms and showering areas are spacious. The common rooms are huge. And unlimited use of the kitchen was a bonus.

Lonko Hostel Cabanaconde er staðsett í Cabanaconde og Colca-gljúfrið er í innan við 26 km fjarlægð. Situated right on the plaza square, just on the other side to where the bus arrives. Family are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good. Room on the smallish side but you are only in your room at night. The shared bathroom was right outside the bedroom and the shower was hot and fantastic. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was really good, and the bunk beds in the dorm were the best I’ve ever had. Real private bed feel in a dorm as all the beds were closed off.

Peruvians are very nice people but Hilda is simply the best. With a big smile, always willing to help. Hostel in a great location, close to an excellent restauracja , with the possibility of leaving your luggage during trekking in the canyon, with a wide range of excursions and the possibility of doing laundry. If you don't need the standard of a top hotel, this is the place for you. Muchos gracias Hilda!

Park Hostel er með fullbúnu sameiginlegu eldhúsi og verönd með víðáttumiklu útsýni yfir eldfjallið. Í boði er ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet og léttur morgunverður í Arequipa. I loved the views of the mountains/volcano from the rooftop. Its ran by a very nice family and feels almost like you're in a relatives house - very cosy. We stayed in an inner room and I didn't hear any noise from the street. They will do your laundry for you if needed, they use a clothes line which I prefer to a dryer as it doesn't shrink the clothes.
