Love the breakfast here, it was different every morning and they were all delicious. Paul is super helpful, not only he helped me arrange local tours, he is also very knowledgable of the local transportations and nearby hikes so I couldn take public transport and hike on my own. Also very considerate, make sure I have properly acclimatized before doing any hikes. On days that I had to leave early to a tour, I was given bread (basic but still nice) to take with me.

The owner and staff of hostel are very friendly and always helpful. The hot water is stable and the bed is comfortable, location is 15-20 minutes walk from the town center, and there are many restaurants around. I have enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Huaraz.

Erik and his family were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They made you feel like part of their family from the moment you arrived. The rooms are simple and comfortable and the property is on a quiet street. Breakfast is provided in the family kitchen and we had access to cooking facilities and the fridge. We went on an 8-day Huayuash trek with Erik and the whole experience was spectacular. Erik is a very able and knowledgeable guide. He is eager to share his understanding of the mountains, Peruvian history and politics and the rich culture of the country. The food he provides is delicious and his equipment and organizational skills are excellent.

Tony's House Eco Hostel er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og veitingastað í Huaraz. Farfuglaheimilið er 2,6 km frá Estadio Rosas Pampa og býður upp á bar og grillaðstöðu. Carla, the hostel host, was amazing! She could always point us in the right direction when we had questions and was full of good advice for things to do in Huaraz and the surrounding areas. She even stayed up past midnight to let us in the first night when our bus was delayed 3 hours.

Montañero Hostel II býður upp á gistirými í Huaraz. Meðal aðstöðu á gististaðnum er sameiginlegt eldhús og sameiginleg setustofa ásamt ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. We where able to check straight in at 7am when we arrived off an overnight bus! and on the day we where leaving we had a 10pm night bus and we where allowed to have the room up to 3pm with no hesitation or extra charge!! We also planned hikes through the owners.

They gave me very good advice for whatever I needed. It was more than in a usual hostel. They are very well compotent of the trekking activities and other activities of the region. It helped me a lot.

Krusty Hostel B&B er staðsett í Huaraz og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og verönd. Allar einingar eru með sérbaðherbergi með baðkari og fullbúnu eldhúsi. I was there during the rainy season. I arrived with the night bus very early in the morning and the owner allowed me to check in early and have breakfast with no extra cost. Very helpful with hikes, both through the hostel and on my own with colectivo. Liked the curtain privacy in the dormitory bed, and it was comfy. Shower was nice and warm.
