You have everything you need, including soap, towels, a nice shared kitchen. It is quiet. We arrived in the middle of the night and everything went good. Communication is good.

The location was perfect, very close to the city center, and if you didn't want to walk too much, you have a bus station about 100 meters away. The room was clean, wi-fi was fast, and the bed was comfortable.

Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. This hostel is in the old town, so it has a perfect location. The staff is very kind and helpful, with a prompt answer. When I arrived the heater was not working properly, they offered me another room where everything was good. The morning staff was happy to suggest places to visit. The bed was very comfortable with a warm duvet. Hot water from the shower. Locker near the bed. There is also a little kitchen with a microwave, kettle, mugs, plates, cutleries and some condiments. In the basement there is a sauna, well maintained. It takes 1 h and half to warmup, so book the sauna in advance if you want to use it. It's free if your reservation is for at least 3 nights, otherwise it costs only 40 leu (8€ ).

I really loved this accomodation. It is a Hostel, I booked a separate room w/ shared bathroom and kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. The management is really helpful - I arrived by car, and there are a limited number of parking spaces int he yard of the hostel. but the manager offerded several solutions, I was really impressed. This place is ideal four young travellers who want to explore the city, it is very close to the center, absolute walking distance. It has great common areas where you can relax together. I did love the athmosphere of this old villa as the owner called it.
