Youth Hostel Proteus Postojna er staðsett í Postojna, 900 metra frá Karst-safninu í Postojna og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Hostel is 1 KM away from postojna cave, which can be reached on foot in 10-15 min The bus station is 5 mins on foot as well The staff are exceptional, i have to give my regards to a specific one of them called timoti from the night shift (sorry if misspelled your name), he literally saved my trip on the 1st day as i wanted to go to škocjan cave and there were no direct buses, he searched and found a transportation company that helped me go there directly from a place called divača and it made things so much easier, he got an address and helped with the navigation and everything, this guy should get a raise, thank you timoti :). The receptionist who takes the shift from 1-9 pm as well helped with suggesting divača Bathrooms excellent, kitchen excellent, room perfect, beds extra comfy, free towel. Hostel is near to 4 restaurants and a bakery so food was no problem Overall stay exceeded my expectations and i'm so satisfied with the whole process

Family Hostel Pivka er staðsett í Pivka, í innan við 22 km fjarlægð frá Predjama-kastala og 26 km frá Škocjan-hellunum. Fantastic, to call it a 'Hostel' is to undersell it as it is no average hostel. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, sparkling clean, great kitchen, common area is great, bathrooms fab. The host gave us lots of tips of things to do in the area, shops restaurants etc. Really went above and beyond. An almost Faultless stay and our only disappointment was that we could not stay more than one night. Best Hostel we've ever stayed at. Thank you
