But I met great people and had great time there. I even spent my birthday there. It was lovely. I would highly recommend for solo travelers or any travellers. Aykut the owner and the manager of the place was absolutely amazing became a friend of mine and was helpful from everything that I need the big things and little small things. He was always there. The Hostel film more like a home than a hostel. It’s clean all the time organize and give you a home, comfortable relaxing, feeling when you are here you can relax and feel like home. The owner was so friendly and always here for help advice questions recommendations guidance Bike Rental places to eat best restaurants best coffee, gas station SIM card. I had a wonderful time here and I will definitely recommend and come back.

The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.
