I mostly sleep in hostels in shared rooms, and I would like to recommend the Justwalk Hostel in Hualien, Taiwan. The owner welcomes guests and helps with everything. The hostel is amazing in its beauty, clean and practical design, the best I have seen to date.

This is probably my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s really social in a gentle way. The staff were amazing and I really enjoyed meeting them. Everyone is so friendly, we went out for dinner and it was wonderful. The vibe is super cool from the owners decor and there’s a cute cat too. Other guests staying there were really friendly too. They have 3 bikes available for guests to borrow. Thanks for an awesome experience.

A pleasant stay at Hualien before departing to Taipei. It's walking distance from Hualien station & laundry store. The staff is friendly and patient in answering our inquiries prior to the arrival and provides taxi booking to the night market as well.

The owner is one of the nicest hosts I've ever had, helped me plan my stay in Hualien and recommended amazing places. After I got into an accident and was home/bed-bound for a few days he also went out of his way and helped me with whatever I need. The place itself is big and cozy, everything is cleaned every day, shower is warm - everything was perfect. Didn't expect that from the low price :)

Matatagpuan sa Hualien City, 17 minutong lakad mula sa Nanbin Park Beach, ang View Hostel ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may mga libreng bisikleta, libreng private parking, at shared lounge. I was solo traveler with my bike. The owner also good cyclist, and gave me some local info likes warning point on the road. You can keep your bike on their lobby with the bike stand. The hotel is front of sight seeing point, and close to walk to the restaurants and conveniences stores. (So the hotel is Not noisy outside). I strongly recommend this hotel.

The rooms, shared spaces, and bathrooms are all very clean and comfortable. The owner is also very welcoming and friendly. The location is convenient — it’s close to Hualien Station, and there are many restaurants nearby. I would love to stay here again if I visit Hualien in the future.
