Was a good location, friendly host and nice place. But expensive but I guess that’s what you pay for. House could do with a bit of a upgrade on decor and two of the rooms weren’t really private. So had to go in the far back room for changing etc . There was random washing machines and stuff inside that just cluttered the place a little. Overall nice stay

Located in San Remo, Black Dolphin Waterfront Apartment offers accommodations overlooking the tranquil waters of Westernport Bay and Phillip Island. It is superbly located just a stroll away from the cafés and the picturesque San Remo township. The apartment features a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. and streaming services There are 2 queen-size bedrooms both with their own ensuite, which includes a large shower, vanity basin and toilet. One of the en suites features a spa bath. There is also a single bed available. Bed linen and bathroom towels are all provided. The kitchen is well appointed and fully-equipped with all appliances. There is also a fully-equipped laundry. There is a private courtyard at the rear and also in the front, which has a covered veranda with a barbecue. The apartment is located 3 minutes' walk from the San Remo shops, cafes and Safety Beach by the Harbor. Koala Conservation Center is a 10-minute drive away, Grand Prix Circuit is 12 minutes' drive and both the Penguin Parade and Nobbies Center 15 minutes' drive.

The Black Dolphin Apartment offers a one bedroom Apartment . Its northerly aspect allows plenty of natural light to flood in, creating a warm atmosphere that shows off a smart contemporary decor. Walk to restaurants, café`s, supermarket, shops, kids playground and the beach. Also daily Pelican Feeding at the jetty. At ground level, the open living area looks out onto a private courtyard garden with waterfront views and surrounded by a brush fence for privacy. The 10 squares of floor space includes a fully equipped kitchen well appointed with all appliances. The main queen size bedroom has woollen doona, linen and towels provided plus own ensuite. The second queen bedroom is studio syle and has own its own ensiute. If required, an extra single bed is available and privately positioned. The large bathroom is superbly fitted out with a large separate shower, stylish pedestal basin and a separate spa bath. A reverse-cycle air conditioner keeps the temperature just how you like it. A fully equipped laundry is also provided.
Nigel and Lydia Firth travelled the world for many years before settling on Phillip Island in 1976 and bringing up three children. The Black Dolphin was established in 2005 as a family concern. Your hosts take great pride in providing a very private, clean and comfortable place to spend your holiday getaway. As energetic enthusiasts for all things interesting and unique to Phillip Island, Nigel and Lydia love running an accommodation business and are fascinated by the people that they meet. Their aim is for every guest to feel that The Black Dolphin is their home away from home.
Phillip Island is truly one of the jewels in Victoria's crown, famous for the nightly parade of the Fairy Penguins 15mins away, Koala Conservation Centre 10 mins, beautiful beaches 2 mins, spectacular rugged coastline, surfing beaches 5 mins and its flora and fauna. A 2-hour drive from Melbourne Airport or 1.5 hours from Melbourne's eastern suburbs puts this world-class destination within reach for all visitors to Victoria. Seal rocks 15 mins, Race Track 10 mins, San Remo 5 mins, Cowes 12 mins, Wild Life Park 10 mins, Chocolate Factory 5 mins, Information Centre 5 mins for all your holiday bookings for boat trips, penguins and all information for holiday excursions.
