Fended for ourselves in a chalet set on a very rural farm setting. The kangaroos behaved .but the chalet could of done with a better heating system for the nights were cold as we stayed during winter. The bed was good though, as was the other bits to the chalet.

While the cabins are not the most posh or modern, the Kalgan River Chalets was the most enjoyable place we stayed in during our trip to WA. The cabins offer real privacy as they are spread out far from each other. Ours faced a gold course where dozens of kangaroos entertained us during breakfast and dinner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the beds excellent. The laundry facilities are excellent. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. When I left some valuables in the cabin, the manager Bec posted them to my home at her expense and refused to take any payment. I would highly recommend the Kalgan River Chalets to anyone visiting the Albany area who doesn’t mind a 15 minutes drive into the CBD.

Nice quiet park about 10 mins out of town right on the banks of the river . 9 hole golf course at your door step free . Enjoyed a round even tho I've never hit a golf ball b4 . New washing machines . Overall a pretty good park . Chalet/cabins bit dated but comfortable .

Beautiful setting, surrounded by wildlife and availability of herbs. Room had good cooking facilities and quiet bedroom.

It is located next to Kalgan river in a grass land. You can always see Kangaroos in the park which my family enjoyed a lot. Woke up with birds call in the morning was very refreshing. A fantastic place for family stay. It is just 20-30 mins away from CBD and many other other picnic areas such as Emu point, Two people bay etc...

Very nice and quiet area. The whole park is very spacious and a lot of space between chalet. The bed was very comfortable (but I don't like those animals pictures). Rooms are spacious but it's dated. Fly screens were broken. Kitchen is very old. The Chalet was big but there has only 1 heater. It's not warm enough for all areas. Specially the toilet, it's very cold. I only used it in the bedroom to keep the room warm. There are kangaroos around the area. It's fun to watch them.

Pizza's were fantastic. Tennis was a good laugh! Love the fact that the next chalet is a good distance away for a bit of privacy.

The beautiful tranquil setting. It was so relaxing and quiet with awesome wildlife and views up and down the river. The 9 hole golf course is a wonderful bonus. Loved watching the roos on the greens in morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂
