Defined by its gorgeous indoor-outdoor flow, this home forges a lovely haven with hints of Parisian style. Upon entering, a charming front yard and deck create an idyllic space to sip cocktails in the sunshine. While at the back, a BBQ and patio encourage effortless meals at home. The living and dining area is open plan, with French doors opening to the courtyard. There’s a full kitchen and a breakfast bar where you can take things slow over a morning coffee—made with the espresso machine. A comfortable sofa makes it easy to unwind after a busy day with a good book or spot of TV. Heading upstairs to find two bedrooms, both immaculately presented for a good night’s sleep. Each contains a queen-sized bed, set with side tables and reading lights, and offers plenty of storage space for your belongings. The bathroom consists of a separate toilet and both a bathtub and shower. Back downstairs, guests will also have access to an internal laundry with a washing machine, drying rack and iron. Free street parking is available.

The suburb of Kew East sits roughly 30 minutes’ drive east of the city centre and is bounded by beautiful parkland and the meandering Yarra River. Along High Street and Glenferrie Road you’ll find a number of shops and eateries, including Cru Wine Bar and Mister Bianco. Hays Paddock offers a popular kids’ playground along with walking and cycling tracks. Those looking to get outdoors can also enjoy Kew Golf Club or a visit to the iconic Studley Park on the river foreshore. From here it’s an easy tram ride to Flinders Street Railway Station.
