What a find. A home away from home. Clean. So well equipped all one could need and more. Surprised ourselves how central it was…walk out the door and adequate shopping facilities virtually across the road. Chocolate and fresh flowers appreciated

Very private space as part of a bigger property, gorgeous gardens, well appointed and very considered space (a blanket to snuggle under, good crockery, sound-bar etc). Brilliant for morning walks and you can hear the sea as soon as you step outside.

Straight forward, clean, in the town centre, easy after hours check-in.
Lovely town with gorgeous buildings. Easy to walk around lots of restaurants and cafes. I recommend going to the information centre in town, we found the staff super helpful. The scenery is beautiful, if you have a car there are plenty of lovely drives and small towns around Victor Harbor. We were there in April so recommend bring jackets and umbrellas. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We did the train to Goolwa, it was ok just disappointed the steam engine wasn’t running.
We had takeaway at Noodle Bento in the main shopping centre, delicious! Chicken Laksa and Mongolian Beef, thumbs up!
Nino’s for coffee and their egg and bacon rolls another thumbs up!

Victor Harbor is always a nice place to visit.
Victor Harbor is always a nice place to visit. We walked to Granite Island and around the main part of town. They had the Artisan markets plus the general Sunday markets which are always fun to visit .
Even though it was a long weekend the supermarkets were opened if you needed to purchase anything
Dinner at Nino's did not disappoint, beautiful food and great service

Local life pleasant and laid back, quiet during the week, busy on weekends as tourists flock into the area.. local pubs and restaurants cater to all tastes and budgets. The location offers many activities for families and all ages.. beaches, fishing, hiking. Several coastal townships nearby - literally 5 minutes away to drive, with so much history to explore. Regular local markets and activities, fun runs, art displays in the park, walks across to Granite Island, and much more... all free - with a few boat rides and train rides and even camel rides at reasonable prices.
If you like the quiet atmosphere, skip school holidays.. but if you are OK with the friendly busy vibe.. plenty to enjoy for all.. sideshow rides and park stalls go up in busier times - ofcourse, the horse tram to the Island is a staple for all to enjoy.

Victor Harbour is a beautiful seaside location on the Fleurieu Peninsula offering plenty of walks, beach strolls and parks for picnics or relaxing. The historical tramway is a fun way to access Granite Island - where further scenic walks are available - or access by the causeway is also a good option. The Cockle Train rides between Victor Harbour and Goolwa are nostalgic and fun and allow you to hop on and hop off to enjoy Port Elliott and Middleton along the way.
There are plenty of accommodation options, shops to browse, coffee shops and eateries for a variety of food. The town also has medical services, major supermarkets, hardware stores and other service providers. Other interesting places to see on the Peninsula are accessible by car. A great place to holiday!

My stay at Back Valley Farm House was below par.
My stay at Back Valley Farm House was below par. No cooked breakfast, which was advertised as an everyday thing. Not much heating. I definitely had no control over the heating. I was accused of damaging a screen door and I did not. The place is in very poor repair. The screens have not been serviced or looked at for a long time. They were full of spider webs. The customer service did not exist and the owners of the place were not friendly or welcoming at all
Beautiful place with amazing views and a calming vibe. Frans and Angela are a very welcoming and friendly who both have put in a lot of love in curating the whole area. Private unit is separate and very clean with the outside space all to yourself and uninterrupted. Many considerate amenities are provided. No wi-fi available but it is not needed (Treat yourself and get away from all the noise and enjoy your time away!). Only a short drive away from Victor Harbor. Well worth the stay.
It is a great location and within walking distance of most things in Victor Harbor. Plenty of eateries and coffee shops in the area and close to the Cockle Train Victor Harbour station. Unfortunately, we had to go to Port Elliot as there were no trains running from Victor Harbour when we were there. The train trip to Goolwa was really nice and a market at the station was worth visiting. Plenty of shops and eateries to fill in a couple of hours before the return train trip.
Location was perfect. Loved the view. As we've been travelling to Victor Harbor for many years, we didn't feel the need to sight-see. So we were able to relax in our room and soak up the sight of the beautiful Bluff. Oh and I even enjoyed a spa bath with bath salts! Would definitely think of this place first when looking to return to Victor Harbor.
The water park and the pool were amamazing. Alot of things to do in the park.
Great location.
Staff were exceptional warm, friendly and welcoming. A beautiful place and we will be back but we might stay in a different room.
My son and I had an amazing time together.
Thank you for helping us create some great and unforgettable memories :)

Very comfortable 3 bedroom unit had everything we needed and was nice and clean.
Loved the facilities like the pool and sauna.
My little girl loved the space to run around outside our property.
I loved the welcome card from the staff and complimentary bottle of bubbles for my 40th.
poor hotel, poor service. I booked 3 rooms with 20m2 per one but received a room with total 10m2, very small and inconvenient. I claimed with the staffs but they said they don't know and ask me to talk with Booking.com.
As advertised the perfect location with modern house in a quiet and friendly neighbours. Safe walking distance to everything, this was our 4 visit to Victor Harbor. Our best stay ever, we would highly recommend.
Just what we wanted, a typical modest motel in terms of features, clean, comfortable and good staff. Good value for a tourist location like Victor Harbor. In the CBD so walking distance to, most attractions.
We enjoyed our stay at the NRMA Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park. My daughter loves the waterslide and pool, it is such a great area for the kids. The location is great and the cabins were clean and cosy.
Loved the location, Staff were friendly too.
Room was dated but nice. The bed was very confortable.
We love Victor Harbor so will definately be back. Looking forward to seeing the hotel after renovations.
Location was quiet and very convenient. The room was clean and included necessary assets - iron, fridge, lounge, table and chairs, hairdryer, shampoo, hairconditioner, etc.
Plenty of room and well equipped in the accomodation . Excellent position. Very close to shops supermarket and close to the main attractions in Victor Harbor.
This is a great cottage for a stay in Victor Harbor. Close to everything but a really quiet area. Lovely deck to sit on and enjoy the views and the birds.
