Cosy self contained ground floor room with kitchenette with private access, set in a large garden which is visited by parrots, cockatoos, occasional wallaby and shy wombat. Wake to the sound of birds singing. The house is situated on a quiet no through road. Ideal for a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist villages with beautiful valley and mountain views of the Warburton Ranges and Mt. Donna Buang. Please note cafes, restaurants, or shops are not within walking distance but are a short 10 minutes drive away. This is a strictly NO Smoking Property.
Retired couple who love meeting other people and traveling
There are many great walks with Lyre birds and other wildlife and places to visit in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges National Parks - check the Dandenong Ranges website for more detailed information. Just only 10-15 mins. drive from iconic Puffing Billy Steam Train, and popular wedding venues, great cafes/restaurants and unique tourist shops. There are many popular open gardens including George Tindale, Nicholas, Cloudehill and Olinda Botanical Gardens, city views from the Mt Dandenong Observatory and highly recommended is a visit to the historic William Ricketts Sanctuary. As hosts we can provide more first hand information and maps of the attractions in the area and beyond.
