PADDYS CREEK RETREAT is a beautiful cottage located at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, 5 minutes' walk from the center of Upwey where you can catch the train to Melbourne/Belgrave, 25 mi away. Guests staying at PADDYS CREEK RETREAT can visit the famous Puffing Billy Tourist Train, 8 minutes' drive away or enjoy a cup of coffee at the local cafes. The Yarra Valley wine and gourmet food area is a 30-minute drive away. Miss Marple's Tearoom, 1000 Steps Kokoda Memorial Walk and antique shops are all within an 8-minute drive from the property. The 2-bedroom holiday home has a kitchen with an oven, microwave and a kettle. The open plan living area opens out to a deck with barbecue facilities. This fully self-contained, detached cottage has been beautifully restored and features high ceilings, two bedrooms featuring queen size beds with built in wardrobes, bathroom with deep free-standing bath and separate shower, separate toilet, laundry with washing machine and dryer, fully functioning kitchen with Gas Stove/Electric Oven, fridge/freezer, split system AC/Heating, Wi-Fi, wall mounted TV and DVD player. We are a family friendly property providing a portacot, highchair, kids toys & dvd's and a play area out the back with a swing. A sign visible from the road will welcome you as you arrive at Paddy's Creek Retreat. A private parking area is available, and a well-lit garden path will guide you to the cottage. You will have full access to all areas of the cottage which also opens up onto a large undercover deck area with BBQ facilities available. Flat rear yard also available for children to run around and for you to enjoy our luscious landscaped garden. Please note: Our cottage does have stairs at its entrance and would not be suitable for elderly and wheelchair access, children will need to be supervised.
We are a young couple living in the beautiful foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Our property sits across a creek with beautiful scenery and surrounded by the sound of nature. We want to share this experience with those wishing to explore this beautiful part of the world, and look forward to welcoming you to stay at our cosy self-contained and private cottage.
VISIT THE PUFFING BILLY TOURIST RAILWAY, MISS MARPLES FAMOUS TEA ROOMS, GRANTS PICNIC BIRDS TO FEED THE BIRDS, HIKING THROUGH THE STATE FOREST, 1/2 HOUR TO YARRA VALLEY WINE AND GOURMET AREA AND ENJOY THE ART AND CULTURAL SITES THAT OUR AREA BRINGS.
