Rosewood Park is perfect for couples or friends looking for that country getaway experience within easy reach. Offering comfort, convenience, privacy and a peaceful, tranquil our spacious guest suite is ideal for two adults however we can accommodate three. This fully self-contained and independent air-conditioned suite includes a queen size bed with electric blanket and the option to sleep another on the comfortable sofa in the living room or on a queen size floor mattress. The bathroom includes a toilet, huge shower, large vanity and mirror, divine fluffy towels and hairdryer. Dine in using the fully functioning kitchen to prepare that something special for breakfast, lunch and dinner or if cooking isn't on the menu, head downtown on foot, bike or car to an assortment of cafes or the well known Yarragon Pub for a drink or meal. It's just 2.5 kms away. Stroll the botanic garden comprising over 250 roses, some rather rare and just take in the ever-changing panoramic views to the Baw Baw Ranges and surrounds. We are on-site 24/7 as we live at and work from Rosewood Park.
My husband and I have travelled extensively over the years. I'd have to say one of our favorite destinations was Turkey and the Gallipoli experience. It's hard to find the words to describe it to be honest. Anyone who has been there will know what I mean. But it's always great to get back home. These days home is where the heart is. My time is spent between working in my home office at Rosewood Park, riding my horse, working around the property and spending quality time with my husband and our gorgeous two labradors. My home base business is called Design Wordz. I'm a professional copywriter. Rosewood Park certainly provides and the peace and inspiration needed to write compelling and creative copy for my clients. I'm truly blessed to call my office home. Rosewood Park is also home to Horse Sit Stay, another business venture of mine. I provide a holiday horse sitting and horse stay service from our beautiful 10-acre property in Yarragon. Yarragon is located between Warragul and Trafalgar and is one of only two towns not bypassed by the Princes Highway between Melbourne and the Latrobe Valley. Yarragon is very much a tourist town, with an interesting selection of antique shops, craft shops, galleries and cafes attracting many visitors. Attractive gardens, pathways, shelters and a large rotunda provide a buffer between the busy highway and the variety of speciality shops and attractions that Yarragon has to offer. The Strzelecki Ranges provide a scenic backdrop to Yarragon, with much of the land around the town devoted to dairy farms. A short drive south along the road to Leongatha climbs the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges, and scenic views can be enjoyed from many spots along the road. The Gourmet Deli Trail consists of a network of farms, vineyards and outlets selling local produce and smallgoods, and covers much of the area between Drouin, Warragul and Yarragon and south through the Strzelecki Ranges.
