Beautiful guest house located 600 metres from some of the best surfing beaches in Australia. Boutique accommodation, modern fully furnished with 2 queen bedrooms, lounge with King Furniture leather modular lounge big enough for one person to sleep on, small dining table, full kitchen, bathroom, plus laundry on ground floor with additional shower & toilet - all sparkling clean. Free wifi with Netflix available for guests who have their own login. Relax on the undercover balcony and breathe in the amazing ocean and escarpment views and perhaps cook up a BBQ or enjoy the many local cafes and restaurants in the area. Just a few minutes easy walk to multiple beaches, cafes, breweries and bars, shopping villages, bike track, walking tracks, ocean pools and so much more. 10 minutes to Wollongong. Plenty to do! Located at the side of our home, with completely separate access, you also have access to a shared pool table and BBQ area in addition to what is mentioned. The shared space is located on the ground floor, the guest house is on the first floor. We have a friendly Groodle dog named Tia who loves pats. Audra & Sean live in a truly gorgeous coastal area. They have two adult sons and enjoy the beautiful beaches all within minutes walk, including walking Tia on the friendly dog beach. They love the company of family and friends. Audra loves a bit of time to sit in the sun with a cuppa to read a magazine, breathing in the fresh sea breezes and enjoying the stunning coastal and escarpment views. She is an Executive Manager for a local Disability Provider, Sean is a Surveyor and volunteers as a lifeguard at Sandon Point Surf Lifesaving Club where their boys took part in nippers for many years. Sean and their eldest son surf. They enjoy a few games of billiards which is available to guests of course, plus there's a dart board for fun in the undercover area. They are honest, hard working, friendly people and very much look forward to meeting their future guests.
It's a lovely neighbourhood with much to offer right on the doorstep or within half an hour. You could: - Enjoy a show at the gorgeous Anita's Theatre, just a few minutes away in Thirroul - Browse the many lovely local markets, Bulli Markets, the Foragers Markets, Coledale, Kiama & the Farm - Venture to Kiama & see the famous blowhole - Keira Street 'Eat Street' Thursday nights in Wollongong, late night shopping & choice of dinner from a range of food trucks, live music - Bushwalk the Illawarra Escarpment or the Sublime Point walking track, incredible views & a lovely cafe at the top - Lunch at the cliffside Scarborough or Headlands Hotel - Catch a wave within a 2 minute walk from the guest house at Sandon Point or McCauleys or take a drive to the Farm or Mystics, the latter two being part of a National Surfing Reserve at Killalea - There's 9 amazing rock pools around to enjoy, or take a different kind of plunge & go Skydiving at Skydive Sydney-Wollongong - Enjoy a variety of shows at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre & browse through Wollongong Art Gallery. WIN Sports & Entertainment Centre hosts a range of sporting events & concerts - Look for dolphins!
