Our lovingly furnished cottage in the middle of wild blueberry fields on our 2000 acre farm at Lindsay Lake is the perfect place to relax and unwind, explore the Canadian wilderness or get a glimpse into our everyday farm life. We emigrated from Germany to Nova Scotia in 2020 to fulfill our lifelong dream and have called Lindsay Lake Farms home ever since. Moose River Cottage, formerly an old farmhouse, has been extensively renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. Each piece of furniture can tell its own story, some of it has been in the family for a very long time and has made the journey across the big pond with us. Even the paintings on the walls are fond memories of a special artist in the family. They add another special colorful touch to the rooms. Moose River Cottage is an exceptional place with a unique feel-good atmosphere. A fully equipped kitchen with a great view of the blueberry fields inspires to cook delicious meals with local ingredients, the dining room is the perfect place to celebrate meals with family and/or friends. The living room invites you to linger and relax. On the 1st floor are the tastefully decorated bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds) and the bathroom. A view out the window opens up to the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley. Lindsay Lake is located in the middle of our farm and is absolutely private. As guests of our cottage you will have exclusive access to the lake. Enjoy the beauty of unspoiled nature, swim in the crystal clear waters of the lake or relax on the shore. Lindsay Lake is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax surrounded by nature. We provide bed linen and towels for your stay. Personal contact with our guests is very important to us and therefore we are of course on site upon arrival.
